Definizione

  • This concept is a symbol of luck, celebration, vitality, and protection. Historically associated with prosperity and happiness, it is deeply embedded in traditional rituals and events, from weddings to New Year celebrations. Red also symbolises political power and nationalism, particularly since the 20th century, when it became an emblem of unity and revolution with the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. In art and design, Chinese red conveys warmth, energy, and a sense of continuity with the past, often incorporated to invoke a connection to cultural identity.
