Definition
- A technique and a Chinese artistic movement that involves using colored spray cans on various urban surfaces to create works of art. It originated as one of the first evolutions of graffiti writing. Initially, aerosol art was intricately linked to graffiti as an artistic expression, employing spray cans as a painting technique often enhanced by airbrush applications. Aerosol Art encompasses not only writing but also the use of characters (puppets) and the application of more complex painting techniques using spray cans.
