knowledge graph
Definition
- A type of knowledge base centered around the relationship between entities. It uses a graph as its structure to represent knowledge as concepts and the relationships betwee n them (facts). It is generally understood and used within the context of the semantic web and is “intended to accumulate and convey knowledge of the real world.” (Hogan, Aidan et al. 2021) It should make use of a data model and/or ontology to allow both humans and machines to understand and reason about its contents.
