Definition

  • In computer networking an endpoint is a type of communication network node that acts as an interface exposed by a communicating party or by a communication channel. In the context of this taxonomy, endpoint refers primarily to the endpoints offered by web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), specifying where resources lie that can be accessed by third party software, or those capable of receiving and processing SPARQL Protocol requests.
