Definition

  • RDF is a standard model for data interchange online, developed by the W3C, that is based on a machine-readable directed graph composed of triple statements (subject, predicate, object). It provides a variety of syntax notation and serialization formats and allows structured and semi-structured data to be mixed, exposed, and shared across applications. It is most commonly used as a way to model information and for conceptual description in the context of the Semantic Web.
