- Ptolemaic queen, daughter of Ptolemy III and Berenice II, and wife of her brother Ptolemy IV Philopator; she ruled Egypt from 220 to 204 BC and was a politically significant figure, becoming the first Ptolemaic queen to bear a child by her brother, thereby reinforcing dynastic legitimacy
